Washington Township, Montgomery County, Ohio, is seeking a recreation leader to supervise membership and guest services and special events for the Recreation Department. This position is responsible for all operations, policies and procedures associated with facilitating daily access to recreation services and events offered by the department while providing exceptional customer service to the public.

Applicant must possess the following:
Must possess and maintain a valid driver license and remain insurable under the Township vehicle insurance plan.
Preferred qualifications would include two or more years of post-graduate education or four or more years of professional work experience in a related field.

Schedule, supervise and train staff for online point of sale operating systems including RecTrac version 10.3 and Brushfire.
Monitor cash handling procedures and ensure compliance, complete daily reports and deposits for the department and serve as its chief liaison with the Washington Township finance staff.
Coordinate and supervise special events for the department, including, but not limited to the annual holiday lighting festival.
Support facility scheduling for recreation programs, classes and events; enforce and maintain policies procedures for the department.
Establish and maintain office management systems, processes, forms and standard operating procedures; monitor and evaluate administrative support processes and policies. Negotiates contracts with vendors and independent contractors, as required.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range is $41,184 to $52,104 and is an exempt, non-union position. Entry rate is contingent upon candidate’s experience, qualifications, and related skills, knowledge, and ability. Excellent benefits.
