Youth Sports Supervisor, Bally Sports Group LLC

Compensation
Salary:  $55-$60k annually
Retirement:  Optional 3% Retirement Matching from BSG

Working for Bally Sports Group provides the prospective supervisor with the opportunity to make an incredible impact on children all over Central Ohio.  This position blends a variety of coaching situations with administrative and management responsibilities.  This is a great opportunity for an active, sports minded individual who has a passion for inspiring youth through sports, while also developing business sector skills.

Work Requirements
Including but not limited to:

Coaching - Leads youth sports programs, camps, and physical education classes
Staffing - Manage staff. Handles posting, vetting, hiring, and training of part time and seasonal staff
Curriculum Planning - Designs and implements the class curriculum for evening and weekend programs, summer camps, and physical education classes
Logistics - Coordination of ensuring sports equipment, uniforms and supplies are at appropriate locations
Event Planning - Orders t-shirts, hats, sports equipment and arranges seasonal picture schedule
Administration - Builds rosters, schedules, parent communication, website updates, program manuals, etc.
Marketing - Assists with flyer creation and distribution and attends marketing events
Social Media Management - Aids in managing our social media pages
Networking - Candidate is expected to assist with preparing proposals, planning events, updating website, etc.

Minimum Qualifications
3-5 years experience in a similar role
Ability to commute to Central Ohio communities
Experience working with children ages 3-12
A strong background in or knowledge of a wide variety of sports

Education and Certifications
BA or BS in Sports Management, Education, Exercise Science, Nutrition or a related field
CPR/First Aid Certification

Work Conditions
Will routinely work outdoors during warmer weather months
Many job responsibilities require the individual to be active and able to transfer equipment from one location to another

Work Schedule
40 hours per week
Will include a combination of on-site programming and off-site administrative tasks
