Region 3 Networking Event: RecPlex, Beech Acres Park

Anderson Park District staff will talk about their new (and first) capital levy that was approved in November 2023. In October 2023, they were able to purchase the additional 17 acres adjacent to the RecPlex. There will be a community survey this winter to determine what amenities will be built. Participants will tour the RecPlex as well as the park which has a skate park, athletic fields, playground and water play, shelters, and amphitheater.

Those interested will also tour Riverside Park – where they are finishing up additional turf multi-purpose fields and/or Juilfs Park where they put in turf infields in the ball diamonds.
